However, some cocktails are much more prevalent in comparison, so be sure to add them to your drink list.

Coming in as the twentieth most popular combo to enjoy, tequila soda is 10% of the survey respondents’ favorite choice. Made with fresh lemons, club soda, and tequila, this drink is a must-try. 

19. Whiskey Highball

Whether you make it with ginger beer or you use some soda water, Whiskey Highball is one of those drinks you won’t forget. With 10% of the votes, this ranks nineteen on the popularity list, making it many people’s go-to choice.

18. Tequila Sunrise

Another tequila drink has 11% of the respondents’ votes, and rightly so. Made with tequila, orange juice, and grenadine syrup, you’ll be served the unmixed tequila sunrise in a tall glass. The gorgeous orange color makes it especially eye-catching.

With 13% of people ranking it as their favorite cocktail, it’s a unique drink to have. Another name for it is vodka espresso, so if you see it on the menu, know they’re synonymous.

Being the top drink for 14% of the people, this pink-hued drink is generally served in a stem glass. If you don’t like overly sweet drinks, then this is perfect for you because it’s a mix of sweet and sour. It typically contains vodka, Cointreau, cranberry juice, and freshly squeezed lime juice.

Coffee mixed with alcohol is famous and is a combination worth trying. Having 14% of the votes, it’s a fan-favorite. A delightful mixture of Irish whiskey, brown sugar, and freshly brewed coffee, this is a drink that’s enjoyed by many.

Pina Coladas are initially from Puerto Rico however, now they’re enjoyed all across the globe. With 19% of the votes, they’re made with rich coconut milk or cream, pineapple, and delightful white rum.

Coke is a popular choice when it comes to making cocktails, which is why it’s no surprise that Whiskey and coke rank fifth with 19% of the votes. Lemon or citrus is generally added to add some depth to the drink.

A Cuban signature drink, Mojito, is loved by a whopping 27% of respondents. Made with five essential ingredients, namely white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water, and mint, it’s a simple beverage anyone can make at home.

All-time favorite, stealing the top spot, is the one and only Gin & Tonic with 28% of the votes. Initially made to prevent diseases, it is now widely known and loved by many. All you need is some premium quality gin and tonic water coupled with a giant ball of ice.
