Sometimes a fresh coat of paint, decluttering and taking out unnecessary furniture can completely transform a home.
Other times it takes some more effort.
I always say you need to make it look as good as reasonably possible.
But every home is different.

Once your home looks its best, you need to capture it with great photographs.
If you are a skilled photographer with a quality camera then you can do it yourself.

After all, the photos people see of your home online can either get them to put your lock box to good use and tour your home in person OR pass over your home and go see your competition.
