| Homosassa has three seasons. No really cold weather but the best of spring, summer and fall. This is a lovely five room ranch in a quiet 55 and over neighborhood with winding streets and cozy homes nestled into beautiful landscaping. This home has lovely landscaping with a private back yard on a pond with a view of the forest across the way. There is a large 24 X 10 enclosed and screened back porch for relaxing and enjoying the view. This home has an open floor plan with tile and wood laminate floors throughout. There is a large master bedroom with a walk-in closet and master bath; the second bedroom has a large closet also. The whole home has a dry wall textured finish and cathedral ceilings. The hall leading to the bedrooms is oversized to add to the open feel of the home. Oh, did I mention the pond has great bass fishing? There are 10-pound bass here just waiting for you to throw in a line any time. This pond is the best but if you want a change, there are 8 more ponds to choose from. Homosassa is part of the "Nature Coast" and offers lots to do and many places of interest to visit. The next town over is Crystal River and is a diving capital, for those who scuba dive. Our park has a pool and hot tub, a clubhouse for potluck dinners, parties, games and entertainment. There is RV and boat storage here in the park at no extra charge. The water and sewer are included in the nominal monthly fee. Our park has one of the lowest monthly fees in Florida. The neighbors are friendly and the atmosphere is caring. There is a very country feel here but shopping is just down the road. We are 8 miles from the Gulf and there are many boat-launching areas close by. Finding something to do here is easy. There is always something going on. You can take advantage of the activities or not. The decision is yours. The life style is relaxing but not boring. |
